Do You Really Need To Know How To Attract Women

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

By Teddy Shabba When it comes to attracting women many times a man believes that he must know everything a man can know about how to attract women before he can become successful with women. Yet, the truth is you ca know absolutely nothing about how to attract women and still attract women. Even better, is the fact that you can know everything there is to know about attracting women and still not attract women! So how is this possible and why should you even bother to learn how to attract women if you don’t even need to know how in order to do it? Well it is possible because the power of acting AS IF you know how to attract women when approaching women is always going to be greater that waiting until you know how to attract women before approaching women. As for why you should learn how to attract women it is really quite simple. Learning from those who are already where or are beyond where you want to go allows you to learn from both their setbacks and successes. In other words, the long way to being able to attract women is doing it on your own and the shorter and easy way is by learning from and with others. Of course, just how short it will take to learn really depends on who you choose to teach you and how much practice you put in. Then again deciding that you should know how to attract women before you actually go out and start attracting women is the easiest way to stay exactly where you are except with a lot more knowledge. St. Valentine’s Day Massacre (of the Truth): Which Sex Lies the Most to Their Soulmates?

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

By Conner O’Seanery With Valentine’s Day approaching, the thoughts of millions of women and men turn to their boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands or wives (or combinations thereof). It’s the one day of the year where our relationships come into sharper focus, blocking out the usual distractions of work, personal finances and reality T.V. In an age where deception has reached epidemic proportions, however, Valentine’s Day also presents an opportunity to examine the role lies play in our relationships. And make no mistake … every relationship is touched by deception, whether it’s used to avoid hurting our partner’s feelings, to avoid the negative consequences of our actions, to make ourselves more appealing, to gain personal advantage, or to cover up the piles of b.s. we’ve been shoveling all over town. Deception is the grease that makes the world of relationships spin smoothly. But here’s the $64,000 question: Who does most of the “greasing?” Do men lie more to their mates? Or are women most frequently pulling the wool over the eyes of their partners? Let the Debate Begin Let’s clear one thing up right from the start: Everyone lies. Deception is hard-wired into our DNA. Look at the animal kingdom. You’ll find countless examples of deception in nature, where it’s a survival tactic for living longer and reproducing more often. And while it’s not necessary for humans to lie to reproduce (though in many cases it helps enormously), deception is vital for our social survival and long-term harmony in our relationships. But men and women fib for different reasons. They even have different definitions of what constitutes deception. Heres a wonderful quote from Alexander Haig, former U.S. Secretary of State, that yields brilliant insight into how a guy views a lie: Thats not a lie, its a terminological inexactitude. Of course, Haig was famous for his Haigisms. But his scatological comment on lying throws the gender difference into stark relief: Men tend to view a lie as a simple misstatement of facts. Women tend to view a lie as an intentional untruth that hurts someone. Does anyone else see a problem here? This one key difference opens up a whole whack of interesting dynamics between the sexes (as if there weren’t already enough interesting dynamics between the sexes!): A disturbingly high percentage of men believe not mentioning something — say, a sexual dalliance with the intern after work — doesnt qualify as lying to their significant other. Their rationale? No statement = no misstatement = no lie. Men tend to view the relationship game as bloodthirsty competition — a sort of Blind Date meets Gladiator, set to the Top Gun soundtrack. They self-aggrandize (translation: they lie their faces off) in order to squash their puny rivals and cart home the spoils of war (which, dear ladies, is you). Women lie more readily in social situations because they are more sensitive. Sniff, tissue, please. They reason it’s better to boost a person’s ego with a little white lie than destroy them with the truth. (Wow, talk about a foreign concept.) Women tend to be more dishonest in their private lives, usually to protect their children or their friends. When it comes to fibs, another crucial difference between the sexes relates to their orientation. Of the fibs, that is: Men tell more self-oriented lies, ones designed to gain an advantage for the liar (themselves). Women tell other-oriented lies, ones designed to help someone else (usually the recipient of the lie). But, despite overwhelming anecdotal evidence to the contrary, it’s a 50-50 proposition when it comes to the frequency of fibbing. Most researchers agree: Men and women don’t differ so much on the quantity of their lies, just on the content of their lies. Yeah, right. Who’s going to believe that? Travel Destination Wedding Favors

Monday, October 29th, 2007

By Chris Ryerson Are you planning on having a destination wedding in some exotic local? Travel and destination wedding are becoming very hot right now and can be a lot of fun. At the same time they can make wedding planning a little trickier. For example what about your wedding favors for a travel destination wedding? Do you really want to try to stuff your suitcase with 250 to 500 wedding favors for guests to take home? This article will give some great ideas on ways you can maximize space and still have stellar wedding favors for your destination wedding all at the same time. Think Local Often travel destination weddings by nature take place in exotic and beautiful locations or locales. These beautiful spots often provide an abundant source of wedding favors. If you can find local delicacies, treats and specialty items that make great wedding favors you have solved your whole problem. You dont even have to worry about how you are going to pack all the favors into your suitcase. Instead tap into the local marketplace and purchase your wedding favors for the guests once you are at the location. Often if you do your research correctly you can easily find vendors that are willing to work with you ahead of time and have everything ready for you when you arrive. This will take some time before hand doing your research and contacting companies in advance. However, the internet has made this whole process pretty easy. You can do your searching for potential companies online using the wedding destination location in your search terms. Then simply find the contact information and make a few phone calls to arrange for the favors to be ready on the big day. Many merchants are very open to this and enjoy the extra business it brings them and will therefore go out of their way to help you. You can even ask them to delivery the favors to your hotel room or the site of the wedding reception. A great example of this is if you are planning to have your wedding in Hawaii. This is a wonderfully romantic setting with lots of local color and specialty items. You can call companies ahead of time and arrange the favors to be made up and ready for you once you get there. Why not use some wonderful chocolate with macadamia nuts wedding favor? Another great idea is Kona coffee wedding favors. These are just a few ideas but they tap into the specialties of the local area where the wedding is going to take place. These make great favors because your guests will take them home and in a few days have a wonderful memory of your wedding as they eat their macadamia nut chocolates or sip their Kona coffee. Think Small Another idea that can help with wedding favors for a destination wedding is to think small. There is no reason that you wedding favor has to be something big and bulky. As the saying goes, Great things come in small packages. So why not use this to your advantage when planning your favors and find things that are small. For example the a delicate box of small chocolate truffles or a wonderful handmade soap are two small items that can easily be packed. Another small item might me mint tins that are customized with your wedding date and details on it. The important thing is to plan ahead and think small from the beginning. Think Delivery Another option if you can not find something that is small and do not like what is offered locally is to have your wedding favors shipped to the location ahead of time. Often you can ship to the hotel and have it waiting at the reception desk when you get there. This relieves you from having to pack extra packs and hauling your wedding favors through the airport which can be a huge pain. Wonderful and memorable travel destination wedding favors can be very easy if you plan ahead. By using the ideas above and being a little creative this can be a fun problem to solve and it does not have to be a big deal. How To Get The Right Wedding Cake For You

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

By Lesley-Ann Graham Who needs that white vanilla wedding cake with sugary frosting? Do you want a wedding cake that looks good but tastes like cardboard, or one that looks good enough to eat - and is? And would you put that hard plastic bride and groom wedding cake topper in your curio cabinet? Fruit cake, cheesecake, ice cream cakes, even chocolate with chocolate-dipped fruit - your choices in wedding cakes are much wider than they were when your mother got married. You deserve a wedding you like, and a perfect wedding cake for it. Here are some ideas for you: A multi-flavored wedding cake thrills everyone. Uncle Jack won’t eat vanilla, but your husband’s best friend is allergic to chocolate. And you have one guest who is allergic to wheat products, another who is lactose-intolerant. So get a cake with multiple layers of different cakes: cheesecake on the bottom for Mr. Wheat, chocolate for Uncle Jack, and a fluffy fat-free angel food cake on the top for you. Your baker can help. How about a filling for the wedding cake? To dress up an otherwise-bland cake or just one layer, fill it with chocolate, strawberry, or preserves. Or frost it with hard chocolate instead of traditional frosting. Why are wedding cakes always round? A current cake trend is one that looks like a stack of presents, decorated with ribbons and bows. You can have anything you want; if you’re both Nascar fans, maybe a car shape, or a cake in the shape of a rose or a castle. And don’t limit yourself to one shape; you can make layers heart-shaped and have a square base, or use geometric shapes. Match your wedding cake to your wedding colors. White cakes can be boring. Consider edible flowers for decoration as well; these real flowers add color and a real touch of class and beauty, but are totally nontoxic. Have a gorgeous wedding dress? Dress the cake up to match. Especially if you have a very unique design, you can ask your bakery to match some of the decorations on the cake to your dress. Look at real china, glass, or objets d’art to top your cake, instead of the plastic figures. Lladro figurines are a wonderful keepsake and look great with traditional and semi traditional cakes. Or you can go with a glass pumpkin coach for the fairytale wedding theme, or something you both love. If you just can’t agree, have a groom’s cake as well. Men tend to go for richer, heavier flavors. One great wedding had a traditional tall white wedding cake next to a chocolate fountain, and then a groom’s cake, devil’s food chocolate (how appropriate) piled high with chocolate-dipped strawberries, with undipped strawberries around it for decoration and to dip into the fountain. Don’t be afraid of being different, after all it is YOUR wedding! Do You Know These Facts About Dandruff?

Saturday, October 27th, 2007

By Alex Fir Dandruff happens when production of new cells rise significantly while the removal process move forward on at its usual speed. A number of tips and strategies can keep under control production of dandruff although none can completely cure it. Shampooing your hair every day with a dandruff shampoo is a great way to keep under control dandruff. You can get better results if you leave the lather for several minutes on your scalp and rinse afterwards. Anti-dandruff shampoos are typically strong and can bring about hair damage. In order to get better results, you should use a conditioner. As a result, the tangles of your hair will be smoothed out. As soon as dandruff comes under control, you can begin to use the anti-dandruff shampoo occasionally with your usual shampoo. Selenium sulfide and Zinc Pyrithione are crucial ingredients of anti-dandruff shampoos. They are cytostatic agents that prevent excessive cell multiplication. Use of these elements help reduce dandruff significantly. If there are no positive results from these over-the-counter products, you should visit a doctor. From time to time dandruff happens only for a very short period of time and may go without treatment. It all depends on the cause that activates it. You can observe a sudden growth in dandruff if you are under stress. Both internal and external causes can affect dandruff growth. Build-up of oil and dirt can worsen dandruff. Use of hair gels can be damaging for a dandruff-stricken scalp. It can irritate the scalp and may increase dandruff growth. If your scalp remains wet for a substantial time, it can assist dandruff growth. Tea tree oil is a natural product that successfully controls dandruff growth. A shampoo containing five percent tea tree oil can bring improvement in dandruff condition by 41 percent. You can treat effectively a dandruff-affected scalp with a liquid formed by boiling dried thyme in half liter of water. You can also greatly control dandruff by rubbing a thick gel of Aloe Vera into the scalp and leaving it during the night. How To Attract ‘Skim Readers’ In Your Newsletter

Friday, October 26th, 2007

By Simon Payn It’s said over and over that people don’t read much anymore because they’re so overwhelmed with information. They have only a short time to look at your newsletter, so they skim it. So how do you get your message across? And how do you get them to read more? The key is to include “hooks” that create interest. Each of these hooks must be relevant and interesting to the reader. Hooks come in many forms, much as: Headlines — Every headline should be interesting and engaging — not boring. It should pass the What’s In It for Me? test. In other words, it should appeal to the selfish interests of your reader. Subheads — These break up long blocks of text, giving you another opportunity to attract attention. The same rules apply for subheads that apply for headlines. Pictures — Make these visually stunning or of a relevant subject. Avoid “stock” photos that could appear in any newsletter or magazine. Use pictures of people — faces attract. Captions — These are among the most-read elements on a page. Make them interesting and relevant. It’s often worth putting your most important message in the caption, as this is one of the first places your reader’s eyes go when they first look at an article. Boxes and panels — These visual elements make text less daunting because there’s a shorter time-commitment needed to read them. Introductions — The first paragraph of a story is make or break. If it’s dull, uninteresting or lacks relevance, your reader will stop right there. In summary, make your page look appealing; give readers lots of ‘entry points’ into your article, and give valuable information even to those who don’t have the time to read the entire text. Cheapest Prepaid Cell Phone Card Review

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Brian_D._Hawkins]Brian D. Hawkins If you are like most people, you purchased your cell phone from a well-known provider and agreed to whatever contract they provided you with. While you may be tied to a long-term contract for you basic service, you actually do have options on your service that can save you money. One very attractive option is to use a cheap prepaid cell phone card to save on long distance, especially if you call internationally. With a prepaid cell phone card, you can simply use your cell phone to call a local or toll free number, and then connect to your long distance call at a fraction of the cost of calling through your cell phone carrier. One must review some of the quality prepaid mobile phone card providers that are out there before making a decision. One reputable provider that is known for offering great rates for cell phone users is Pingo. Making this decision comes with several benefits. After I conducted a lengthy review of cheap prepaid mobile cell phone providers I came up with the following conclusion. When you use a cell phone contract you are often bound by a lengthy contract. If you decide to opt out you may face outrageous charges or nagging legal problems. You may also have the minutes that you have not used cut off at the end of the month. So its best to limit your commitment for long distance calls, and use a prepaid card. By buying a product that is sold over the internet, you can gain many conveniences that you dont have if you buy a card at retail stores. Look for phone card businesses online that offer ANI recognition, auto recharge, great access numbers around the country and world, and quality connections. You can find some of the cheapest cards no matter where you are as long as you have an Internet connection. Using these cards with your cell phone is very easy. When you find the cheapest provider with the best quality, and purchase your minutes, you will be provided with access numbers. This means no matter where you are in the world you can enjoy low rate quality talk time on your cell phone. Staying in touch is a necessity. Whether you use your cell phone mainly for work or to chat with friends and family, you can rest assured that you will not have rising costs. You pay for the minutes and thats it. Calling long distance is no problem. You know exactly what rate you have purchased and no longer have to worry about long distance fees. There are many prepaid cell phone card reviews on the net for you to take a look at. No matter how many you take a look at, you will most likely end up with the same result, saving money on prepaid mobile cell phone rates. Trying to Talk to Reach Teens? Maybe a Teen Quiz can Help

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

By Brian Fong Q. I’m a new 8th grade teacher and I don’t have a lot of experience with teens. Could you help me with a teen quiz that will get them thinking? A. Before I help you with a teen quiz, let me say “good for you”! Many new teachers start out in elementary school and then work their way up to the big leagues. You jumped right into the deep water and I’m proud of you. I love teachers. So, you want to reach teens and you’re hoping that a teen quiz will get you some results. One of the key concepts to keep in mind is that you don’t want your teens thinking that you’re trying to be one of them, or that you’re invading their age group. Remember, even if you’re in your mid 20’s, you’re “old” to someone who is 13. You need to design a teen quiz that makes them think that you respect their opinions and that you are treating them like an “adult”. That means instead of a teen quiz that asks “which one of the MTV VJ’s wear the most bling bling”, you want to ask questions that allow them to show your their intellectual and emotional sides. At the same time you need to keep in mind that the word “quiz” smells an awful lot like the word “test” and we all know how much kids hate taking tests. Maybe instead of calling it a teen quiz, you’d get more mileage out of calling it a Teen Opinion Poll. Now that you’ve disguised the teen quiz, you can go on to fool them into actually thinking about whatever subject you’re responsible for teaching them. For example, a question such as “What makes people want to plant car bombs?” opens up multiple discussion opportunities. You can talk about hate, racism, anti-semitism, religious intolerance, political intrigue, current events and historical events. See how just one well designed question can start a meaningful discussion? Imagine if you had time for even one teen quiz a week, and you could pick one question that would stretch the boundaries of their everyday thoughts and conversations. By the end of the year your teen quiz will likely result in a more aware and educated child than you might have if you just crammed knowledge down their throats every day. A teen quiz can be the key that unlocks their mind. Good luck and thanks for being a teacher! —————————————————————- Brian Fong run the popular quiz site http://www.QuizFaq.com Quiz Faq - Your solutions for the quiz. —————————————————————- Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Brian_Fong http://EzineArticles.com/?Trying-to-Talk-to-Reach-Teens?-Maybe-a-Teen-Quiz-can-Help&id=23202 online order ultram buy tramadol online buy prescription ultram where without cheap ultram prescription

Holiday Wine Glass Coasters

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

By Mary Wilkins Just in time for the holiday season! SUPPLIES: # assorted holiday fabrics - this means anything from cotton prints to silk or velvet, why not try something really exotic! # matching thread # pins # chalk or other marker STEP 1: For each coaster cut 4 5″ squares of holiday fabric. Layer two of the squares on top of one another with wrong sides together. You will be looking at the right side of the fabric. STEP 2: Fold remaining two squares in half wrong sides together and place on top of first two squares. The folded edges face the middle. These two folded edges should overlap slightly.Pin all layers together. Trace around base of your wine glass. Stitch 1/4″ away from markings thru all layers. Backstitch on folded edges for added strength. Trim away excess fabric and turn.Push out fabric gently and press lightly. Now comes the fun part. Embellishing each one. Use whatever you may have on hand. As you can see these are easy for anyone to make. Ideally, each one should be a different fabric so everyone knows which glass is theirs. You can embellish these with ribbon roses, embroidery or leave them plain. Almost any fabric can be used. They can be very elegant or more casual, depending on your lifestyle. Mary Wilkins has three grown children and six perfect grandchildren. Completely self taught, she has been sewing, and crafting for over 30 years.
